\n<\/em>Join disability studies scholar Beth Haller as she discusses\u00a0how the representation of disabilities by the media works to\u00a0shape how we see individuals with disabilities. Haller\u00a0is Professor of Mass Communication at Towson University\u00a0who\u00a0has been researching the portrayal of disability in news and entertainment media since 1991.<\/p>\n
