Shuster<\/strong>, professor of biology and curator of marine invertebrates and molluscs, co-authored a new text book titled <em>Invertebrates<\/em>. The book provides updated information for each of the 32 currently recognized phyla, including detailed classifications, general biology and anatomy, illustrations, and much more. NAU is among the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/bikeleague.org\/sites\/default\/files\/Full_BFU_awards_list_2015.pdf\">League of American Bicycles: Bicycle Friendly Universities<\/a>. <a href=\"http:\/\/flagstaffbiking.org\/about-fbo\/brick-awards\/\">A brick in recognition of their work<\/a> can be viewed at Heritage Square.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Tobias Kreidl<\/strong>, academic computing team lead in Information Technology Services, was one of four panelists selected to participate at the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.citrixsynergy.com\/activities\/learn-and-connect.html\">Citrix Synergy Conference Educational Birds of a Feather customer roundtable<\/a>. Best practices on mobility, virtualization, networking and cloud solutions will be discussed. Kreidl will also attend a Citrix Technology Professionals meeting in Las Vegas.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Northern Arizona University<\/strong> has been ranked among <a href=\"http:\/\/www.collegechoice.net\/rankings\/best-online-bachelors-in-healthcare-administration\/\">the best online bachelor\u2019s in healthcare administration<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/www.collegechoice.net\/rankings\/best-online-bachelors-in-education-degrees-2016\/\">best online bachelor\u2019s in education<\/a> degree programs by College Choice. The rankings are designed to help prospective students make the best choice about where to invest their time and resources toward earning their degree.\u00a0Schools\u00a0and programs were evaluated based on academic quality, student satisfaction, reputation in the field and return on investment.<\/li>\n<li><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-44043 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/stage.headlessnauedu-b6hgdzckfdgxgzhe.westus-01.azurewebsites.net\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/05\/2016-Potluck-1.jpg\" alt=\"NAU-Yuma potluck \" width=\"438\" height=\"139\" srcset=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/402\/2016\/05\/2016-Potluck-1.jpg 692w, https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/402\/2016\/05\/2016-Potluck-1-300x95.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 438px) 100vw, 438px\" \/>The <strong>NAU-Yuma Social Work<\/strong> program celebrated 15 years of social work education in Imperial and Yuma counties at the 2016 Bachelor of Arts in Social Work community potluck. Seniors <strong>J<\/strong><strong>uanita Cabrera<\/strong> and <strong>Natasha Conrood<\/strong> received the Outstanding Social Work Senior Award and <strong>Ivan Gutierrez<\/strong>, <strong>Nubia Quintana<\/strong> and <strong>Myriam Hernandez<\/strong> received the Outstanding Social Work Student Award. Graduating seniors were also recognized for their service projects in Imperial and Yuma counties and San Luis Rio Colorado, Sonora, Mexico.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Laura Umphrey<\/strong>, professor in the School of Communication, had a research article titled <a href=\"http:\/\/icl.sagepub.com\/content\/24\/3\/137\">\u201cParental Responsibility and Respondent Anger, Sympathy, and Willingness to Help Following Child Death\u201d<\/a> published in <em>Illness, Crisis &amp; Loss<\/em>. The article examines 306 responses to news stories that manipulated attributions of parental responsibility following the accidental death of a child. The Sports Video Group\/National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics will select winners at its annual event in Georgia.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">NAU-TV manager <b>Cynthia Catizone<\/b> said this is the third time the student-run television production team has been recognized by the organization.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">The team covers\u00a040 live television events each year, which air on Fox Sports Arizona, NAU-TV and its web stream.\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s1\">Catizone and three students will travel to Atlanta in June for the awards ceremony.\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/nau-tv.com\/Play\/Ep-6-NAU-vs-Weber-State-SVG-Finalist+3739\/\">View the video submission online<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p class=\"p1\">NAU\u2019s <strong>Model United Nations Club<\/strong> has been ranked among <a href=\"http:\/\/bestdelegate.com\/2015-2016-north-american-college-model-u-n-final-rankings\/\">the top 50 North American College Model UN: World Division schools<\/a>.
