{"id":42696,"date":"2016-03-31T12:37:21","date_gmt":"2016-03-31T19:37:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stage.headlessnauedu-b6hgdzckfdgxgzhe.westus-01.azurewebsites.net\/?p=42696"},"modified":"2016-03-31T12:37:21","modified_gmt":"2016-03-31T19:37:21","slug":"go-green-nau-earth-month","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/news\/go-green-nau-earth-month\/","title":{"rendered":"Go green with NAU during Earth Month"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>April is Earth Month and Northern Arizona University is celebrating campus sustainability and awareness with a <a href=\"http:\/\/nau.edu\/Green-NAU\/Earth-Week\/\">full slate of events<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The festivities kickoff with a <a href=\"http:\/\/stage.headlessnauedu-b6hgdzckfdgxgzhe.westus-01.azurewebsites.net\/astrophysicist-educator-jeffrey-bennett-present-free-public-lecture\/#.VvxNWhIrImo\">lecture<\/a> by astrophysicist and educator Jeffrey Bennett on Tuesday, April 5, and continue with an eco-fashion show, open-air market, Earth Jam, Arbor Day walk and the annual campus sustainability\u00a0awards.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/livinglandsandwaters.org\/about-us\/meet-chad\/\">Chad Pregracke<\/a>, founder of Living Lands and\u00a0Water and the 2013 CNN Hero of the Year, is Earth Day\u2019s keynote speaker and will give a public talk at 6 p.m. Friday, April 22, at\u00a0Cline Library Assembly Hall.
