{"id":41251,"date":"2016-01-22T08:44:04","date_gmt":"2016-01-22T15:44:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stage.headlessnauedu-b6hgdzckfdgxgzhe.westus-01.azurewebsites.net\/?p=41251"},"modified":"2016-01-24T14:04:39","modified_gmt":"2016-01-24T21:04:39","slug":"41251-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/news\/41251-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Horizon Concert Series returns with \u2018Contemporary Crosscurrents\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The School of Music\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/nau.edu\/CAL\/Music\/Events\/Horizons-Concert-Series\/\"><strong>Horizons Concert Series<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0returns for its spring season with a compilation of musical offerings for NAU and the Flagstaff community.<\/p>\n<p>The series kicks off with contemporary music quartet <a href=\"http:\/\/www.loadbang.com\/\">loadbang<\/a> at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8, in Ashurst Auditorium.\u00a0The New York City-based quartet will present dramatic works by A<span class=\"s1\">ndy Akiho, Hannah Lash and Andy Kozar in a program entitled \u201cNarratives.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Future concerts include performances by Turtle Island Quartet, airmen musicians of the USAF Band and acclaimed pianist Jeffrey Swann. A full concert list is available\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/nau.edu\/CAL\/Music\/Events\/Horizons-Concert-Series\/\"><strong>online.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Individual tickets for the Horizons Concert Series are $20 for adults, $12.50 for seniors and NAU faculty and staff. Admission is free for children ages 17 and younger and NAU students with an ID.
