<\/a>For those who are unable to make the visit in person, NAU now offers a way to explore the campus \u201cyour way<\/a>.\u201d<\/p>\nNAU, in partnership with YouVisit<\/a>, has produced an interactive, digital tour<\/a> of the Flagstaff campus that showcases the university, academics, student life and Lumberjack culture.<\/p>\n David Dollins<\/strong>, director of Recruitment and Orientation, said the tour allows the university to reach students and families in a new and innovative way. \u201cWhile we incorporate pictures of campus in our materials and presentations, the virtual tour is an immersive experience that engages students through photography as well as 360-degree panoramas and videos,\u201d he said. \u201cNot to mention we have a lot of students interested in NAU from far-away states such as Hawaii and Alaska, where it may be cost-prohibitive to travel to campus.\u201d<\/p>\n The tour includes 20 featured stops that are a mix of social, academic and natural spaces. Since the virtual tour launched in July, more than 6,000 people from 49 states and 24 countries have taken it.<\/p>\n Dollins said the best part of the tour is that it allows everyone access to NAU\u2019s Flagstaff campus. \u201cThe tour is not intended just for undergraduate students,\u201d he said. \u201cIt can also engage alumni, international students, graduate students and others interested in seeing what our beautiful campus looks like.\u201d<\/p>\n To view the virtual tour, visit\u00a0nau.edu\/virtualtour<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
