As one of six standing members, Kreidl will help foster information sharing and education among end users, businesses and Citrix Systems and promote regional and international connections among technological professionals.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Ann Marie Chischilly<\/strong>, executive director for the Institute for Tribal Environmental Professionals, will speak at the upcoming <a href=\"http:\/\/www.indigenous2015.org\">\u201cResilience in a time of uncertainty: Indigenous peoples and climate change\u201d<\/a> conference held Nov. 26-27 in Paris. In the 48-hour challenge, student teams will partner with vendors to design and build a cutting-edge cluster from commercially available components and work with application experts to tune and run the competition codes. The Lumberjacks will join students from Arizona State University to represent Arizona at the event in Austin.<\/li>\n<li>Graduate students in the master&#8217;s in literature program presented research at the regional conferences of the Modern Language Association, the international scholarly organization for professors of English. <strong>Scott Shumaker<\/strong> presented &#8220;Renovating Convention: Women and Language in Wharton&#8217;s\u00a0Decoration of Houses and &#8216;Autres Temps'&#8221; at the South Atlantic Annual Conference. <strong>Cassandra Gallentine <\/strong>presented &#8220;Didactic Disaster: Failure of the Romantic Childhood Ideology in Jean-Jacques Rousseau&#8217;s Emile&#8221; at the Pacific Ancient and Modern Language Association\u2019s conference. <strong>Alexandra Nygren <\/strong>also presented her work titled &#8220;Rewriting the Ramayana and Fostering Friendships: Forms of Resistance in The Rape of Sita.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><a class=\"search-results-excerpt-link\" href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/news\/in-the-spotlight-nov-13-2015\/\">Kudos to these faculty, staff and students Do you have a spotlight item to share with the NAU community?
