A. Franke College of Business.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s free event, \u201cPassport to Excellence: Develop U,\u201d is offering 35 different session topics throughout the day that NAU employees will have the opportunity to attend. In addition to the classes offered, there will be a service fair featuring local organizations and various NAU departments, a HealthyU walk around campus, and KAFF radio\u00a0will play\u00a0music and give\u00a0out prizes during the scheduled lunch break. P<span class=\"s1\">articipants in the wellness walk will earn two <a href=\"http:\/\/nau.edu\/Human-Resources\/HealthyU\/\">HealthyU<\/a> points. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Cassie Petit<\/strong>, director of learning and development, said\u00a0the day is about both personal and professional development. \u201cI think for us being a business of education, it&#8217;s great that NAU takes the same approach with their employees so they have the opportunity to come, whether it be for a full or half day, and just learn new and fun things,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>A broad range of session topics include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>How to Excel in Excel<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Safejacks: Suicide Prevention Training<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Use Your IOS Device to be More Creative<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Stretch and Relaxation<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>How to Improve Budgets and Environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Healthy Habits 101<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Using LinkedIn to Develop Your Network of Strong and Weak Ties<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To register, click <a href=\"https:\/\/www7.nau.edu\/hr\/edd\/\">here<\/a>.
