As part of <a href=\"http:\/\/nau.edu\/campaign\">The Campaign for NAU<\/a>, the employee campaign is intended to recognize the valuable role that faculty and staff play in helping students every day, and to encourage continued philanthropic support among employees.<\/p>\n<p>During the past fiscal year, nearly 900 employees gave more than $250,000 to support the cornerstones\u00a0of the university experience \u2013 including scholarships, colleges, facilities, athletics and more. Last year\u2019s total represented a 29\u00a0percent\u00a0increase in giving from the previous year. This year, the campaign seeks to generate support from 1,000 employees.<\/p>\n<p>To participate, employees may sign up for an ongoing payroll deduct pledge \u2013 either <a href=\"http:\/\/nau.edu\/empgift\/\">online<\/a> or through \u201cAnnual Fund Contributions\u201d in the Self Service area of LOUIE \u2013 or <a href=\"http:\/\/nau.edu\/egc14\/\">give a one-time gift<\/a> to the fund of their choice.
