He was a valued NAU staff member and his<strong>\u00a0<\/strong>knowledge and expertise assisted NAU in establishing it programs in the health sciences, including medical radiology and dental hygiene. He was\u00a0instrumental in the establishment of NAU-Yuma alongside\u00a0President Emeritus <strong>Gene Hughes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>When Coconino Community College was initiated,\u00a0Dr. Glenn\u00a0was loaned as the founding\u00a0president.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><a class=\"search-results-excerpt-link\" href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/news\/obituary-john-glenn-former-dean-of-continuing-education\/\">John Glenn, former dean of Continuing Education at Northern Arizona University, died Feb. 25, 2015.
