The 2.4 kW SkyStream 3.7 turbine is approximately 45 feet high and can produce about as much energy as would be needed to power a home. The wind turbine is part of NAU\u2019s continuous efforts to decrease fossil fuel use. Click on the photo to read more.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Brooke Whitworth<\/strong>, assistant professor in the Center for Science Teaching and Learning, contributed to a literature review on the missing link of leadership in the current professional development models for the Journal of Science Teacher Education. The review, <a href=\"http:\/\/link.springer.com\/article\/10.1007\/s10972-014-9411-2\">\u201cProfessional Development and Teacher Change: The Missing Leadership Link,\u201d<\/a> explores professional development in science education and identifies school and district science leaders as a critical factor missing from current models.<\/li>\n<li>Physics and Astronomy professor <strong>David Trilling<\/strong>\u2019s research using the Dark Energy Camera in the Chilean Andes was featured in <em><a href=\"http:\/\/www.symmetrymagazine.org\/article\/january-2015\/decams-nearby-discoveries\">Symmetry<\/a><\/em>.
