She is the author of\u00a0<em>The Gnostic Gospels<\/em>, considered one of the best books of the 20th century by Modern Library.<\/p>\n<p>Her most recent books include\u00a0<em>Beyond Belief: The Secret Gospel of Thomas<\/em>\u00a0and the\u00a0<em>New York Times<\/em>\u00a0Best Seller and Editor\u2019s Choice\u00a0<em>Revelations: Visions, Prophecy and Politics in the Book of Revelation<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Pagels\u2019 speech is part of the Cline Community Lecture in Humanities series.<\/p>\n<p>The lecture is free but tickets are required for entry.
