NAU alumna Beverly Anderson, the assistant U.S. Attorney from Tucson, will be among the presenters at \u201cThree Women Who Changed the Face of Criminal Justice,\u201d a lecture scheduled for 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 23, in the Social and Behavioral Sciences building, room 107.<\/p>\n
Other presenters include Ann Timmer, justice with the Arizona Supreme Court, and Laura Wilbur, a special agent with the California Department of Justice.<\/p>\n
Marianne Nielsen<\/strong>, professor and chair of Criminology and Criminal Justice, said the upcoming event is a meaningful opportunity for students and community members. “These three amazing women have been involved in some of the most important criminal justice cases in Arizona and California in the past 10 years.\u201d<\/p>\n NAU\u2019s Ladhoff Lecture Series is named after Gerald Ladhoff, retired Department of Criminology and Criminal Justice faculty member.
