Americans are preparing to head to the polls in less than two weeks, and NAU’s Department of Politics and International Affairs has planned several non-partisan activities to inform and engage voters on Election Day processes and analysis.<\/p>\nAmericans are preparing to head to the polls in less than two weeks, and NAU’s Department of Politics and International Affairs has planned several non-partisan activities to inform and engage voters on Election Day processes and analysis.<\/p>\n
On Tuesday, Nov. 6, a panel will discuss \u201cWhat\u2019s at Stake,\u201d featuring several politics faculty speaking on what to look for in the evening’s election returns. Professor and political pollster\u00a0Fred Solop\u00a0<\/strong>will moderate the conversation, which begins\u00a0at 11 a.m. in the Social and Behavioral Sciences building, room 325.<\/p>\n Voters are invited to gather during an Election Watch Party that evening, beginning at 7 p.m. in SBS room 110. Solop and other faculty will be on hand to analyze and discuss results as they come in.<\/p>\n Once the elections are over, a panel will convene for an Election Post-Mortem to discuss the outcomes and their implications.
