Live entertainment and art from the campus community also will\u00a0be on display.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe open-air market is about creating community connections through food and art,\u201d said <strong>Casey Fisher<\/strong>, marketing director of NAU Campus Dining.<span style=\"color: #000000;\"> &#8220;You\u2019ll have the opportunity to meet and buy products from local business owners and artists.&#8221;\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The market also will provide opportunities for student involvement.\u00a0\u201cStudents in\u00a0the\u00a0first-year seminar course, Living the Good Life, as well as the Student Health Advisory Committee will be on hand to discuss healthy living and what it means to be green at NAU,&#8221; said <strong>Catherine Sullivan<\/strong>, sustainability specialist for Campus Dining. &#8220;We&#8217;re also excited to showcase the artistic talents of our students\u00a0through the event.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>This week the market will have produce from Crooked Sky Farms, baked goods from Village Baker, olive oil from Olives Wild\u00a0and\u00a0products from RysingHy Hot Sauce.<\/p>\n<p>The market runs Fridays from 4 to 6 p.m. through Oct. 24 on the Union pedway.<\/p>\n<p>Shoppers are encouraged to bring their own grocery bags as well as cash for purchases from independent vendors.
