Hello, Lumberjack Country! On behalf of NAU Football<\/a>, I\u2019d like to extend greetings to our students, faculty and staff, alumni and the entire Flagstaff community.\u00a0The school year is under way, and so is another year of Big Sky Conference football.<\/p>\n

\"NAU<\/a>\"NAU<\/a>This year we aspire to new heights in the classroom and on the field. In particular, our team looks to build upon the achievements of last year\u2019s 9-plus wins<\/a>\u00a0and once again make it back to the National Championship playoffs!<\/p>\n

When you join us for our home opener,<\/a> you might notice we have a different look. We\u2019re starting the season with many new faces– 46 out of our 95 man roster will be wearing \u2018blue and gold\u2019 for the first time. We\u2019re also sporting a new look. In April, NAU Athletics rolled out a new logo<\/a>. The\u00a0symbolic axe connects a century of students to the NAU experience. We believe our logo, like our team, reflects the strength, pride, determination and hard work of our Lumberjacks.<\/p>\n

On Saturday, we\u2019re asking for your support as we play our first game at home against New Mexico Highlands University.\u00a0If you are able to be here, we need you. Every person plays a part in supporting our program and our players. Together, we are NAU. Together, we are\u00a0#NAUStrong<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
