NAU has two days of activities planned to commemorate the signing of the U.S.\u00a0Constitution on Sept. 17, 1787.<\/p>\n
Wednesday\u2019s events will take place at Ashurst Auditorium, with lunch and a University College Showcase from 11:00 a.m. to 1 p.m. “Students\u2019 public achievement efforts will be highlighted,” said event organizer and University College Coordinator Kelley Sliva McKee<\/strong>. \u201cThese first-year students engage with community partners to identify issues of concern in the community and effect change.\u201d<\/p>\n A post-primary candidate forum is scheduled from 1 to 2:30 p.m. for people to learn more about candidate platforms. At the NAU Art Museum, the exhibit Painting in the World: Reflections on Politics, Violence, and Reconciliation<\/em> will be available for viewing Wednesday and Thursday from noon to 5 p.m.<\/p>\n The NAU Constitution Day commemoration will continue Thursday, Sept. 18.
