Franke College of Business has demonstrated performance and commitment to quality that has garnered a prestigious accreditation earned by less than 5 percent of business programs worldwide.<\/p>\n<p>The university achieved reaccreditation with the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, considered a hallmark of excellence in business education. To earn a five-year accreditation, a business program must meet high levels of quality in teaching, research and professional engagement. Programs are reviewed every five years to ensure it continues to maintain quality control measures.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe review team noted how universally dedicated our faculty and staff are to the success of our students,\u201d said <b>Craig Van Slyke<\/b>, dean of the W.A. Franke College of Business. \u201cThe focus on preparing our students for success is a hallmark of NAU education for decades. It is gratifying to know that our students-centered culture is so clearly evident.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The review committee cited several areas of strengths during their review including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Dedicated faculty and staff who are committed to providing high-quality education and are adaptive to innovative learning initiatives<\/li>\n<li>State-of-the-art facilities and technology<\/li>\n<li>Experiential and active learning opportunities that engage students including learning communities, student competitions, the Executive Job Shadow Program, and the integrated BizBlock curriculum<\/li>\n<li>The innovative <a title=\"Business executive brings front-line experience to first-year students\" href=\"http:\/\/stage.headlessnauedu-b6hgdzckfdgxgzhe.westus-01.azurewebsites.net\/business-executive-brings-front-line-experience-first-year-students\/\">Executive in Residence Program<\/a> that brings exceptional industry leaders to the classroom to share their experience, passion, and industry knowledge.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><a class=\"search-results-excerpt-link\" href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/news\/business-college\/\">Northern Arizona University\u2019s W.A.
