That number includes 17,763 on the Flagstaff campus.<\/p>\n<p>A freshman class of 4,472 is 8.8 percent larger than the previous spring\u2019s class. In the overall NAU population, students identifying as Hispanic\/Latino increased 6.7 percent to 4,451.<\/p>\n<p>Among NAU\u2019s colleges, the College of Health and Human Services, with 3,070 students, had the largest percentage increase: 12.9 percent. The College of Engineering, Forestry and Natural Sciences is NAU\u2019s largest, with 5,632 students.<\/p>\n<p>Total graduate student enrollment declined, as is the case nationally, falling 6.6 percent to 3,664.
