Morris Dees will present \u201cWith Justice for All\u201d at 7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 27, in NAU’s Ardrey Memorial Auditorium.<\/p>\n
Dees, who founded SPLC in 1971 with his law partner, Joseph J. Levin Jr., has dedicated his legal career to suing organizations in discrimination cases. The SPLC is noted for its legal victories against white supremacist groups, legal representation for victims of\u00a0hate groups, the monitoring of alleged hate groups including militias and extremist organizations, and its educational programs\u00a0that promote tolerance. Its priorities include advocating for at-risk children, immigrants and members\u00a0of the LGBT community.<\/p>\n
\u201cMorris Dees has built a strong legacy through standing up in support of social justice, and by way of a very successful legal career,\u201d\u00a0said Bj\u00f6rn Krondorfer<\/strong>, director of the Martin-Springer Institute. \u201cHis drive and dedication are noteworthy, and the Martin-Springer Institute\u00a0is very proud to host him in commemoration of International Holocaust Remembrance Day.\u201d<\/p>\n \u201cWith Justice for All\u201d is free for NAU and Coconino Community College students and faculty, and $15 for the public.
