The 50 fall graduates from NAU’s School of Nursing had a healthy 96 percent pass rate on their National Council Licensure Examination.<\/p>\n

Since 2002, NAU’s scores have risen by more than 10 percent. The average national pass rate was 87 percent. The average Arizona pass rate also was 87 percent.<\/p>\n

Ilene Decker<\/strong>, director of nursing, attributes the high score to the overall quality of the program.<\/p>\n

“We have quality students, faculty and curriculum,” Decker said. “Because of their high grades and the nursing shortage throughout Arizona, these graduates have an excellent outlook for getting employment right way.”<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
