The university exceeded its fund-raising goal for the annual United Way campaign, thanks to the support and donations from hundreds of NAU employees.<\/p>\n
“It is time to celebrate,” said\u00a0Molly Munger<\/strong>, director of community relations at NAU and chairperson for the university’s United Way of Northern Arizona campaign. Donations from nearly 300 NAU colleagues contributed to the total $70,430 raised for United Way, which includes $14, 000 raised from the NAU Arts & Crafts Fair in November.<\/p>\n Munger credits the 56 United Way department coordinators across campus for the campaign’s success, and said\u00a0Cindy Grider\u00a0<\/strong>and the committee that planned the crafts fair helped increase the visibility of the United Way mission.<\/p>\n “By reaching our goal, we are making a positive impact in Flagstaff and sending the message about how much we care about our community,” she said.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
