Northern Arizona University\u2019s High Country Conference Center has received a slew of industry awards in recognition of its innovation and excellence.<\/p>\n
The conference center was recently named a \u201cBest of the West<\/a>\u201d meeting facility by Meetings Focus<\/i> magazine. The prestigious award recognizes the top 50 conference centers in the western United States, western Canada and Mexico.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s an honor to be selected by meeting planners for this distinctive award,\u201d said Moses DeBord,<\/b> general manager of the conference center. \u201cThe facility has brought tremendous value to the university and the entire community of Flagstaff. I\u2019m extremely proud of our team and the commitment shown to be the best every day.\u201d<\/p>\n Best of the West properties are judged on the following criteria: quality of meeting space, guest rooms, guest services and amenities, food and beverage service, high-tech services and equipment, recreational facilities and activities, the efficiency and helpfulness of staff, and overall value and experience.<\/p>\n For the third year in a row, the center has been the recipient of Meeting & Conventions<\/i>\u2019 Gold Key Award<\/a> for overall professionalism and quality of the property and the Pinnacle Award<\/a> from Successful Meetings<\/i> magazine in recognition of excellence in service and facilities.<\/p>\n \u201cThese accolades continue to show our commitment to quality and excellence in what we do and what we strive to provide,\u201d DeBord said.<\/p>\n The center will be featured in the September 2013 issue of Meetings Focus<\/i> and in Meetings & Conventions\u2019<\/i> Gold Awards issue in November.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
