Tanner<\/strong>, health sciences professor, recently was featured in\u00a0<em>Nursing Assistant<\/em> newsletter published by Cengage Learning. In the interview, Tanner explains swallowing disorders and the\u00a0important role nursing assistants have in preventing aspiration pneumonia and choking deaths in patients with compromised swallowing disabilities. Culbertson\u00a0<\/strong>recently formed a partnership with Ahmand R. Khatoonabadi, a doctoral candidate in speech and language pathology at Tehran University of Medical Services. The joint program will translate <a href=\"http:\/\/www.acadcom.com\/scripts\/prodView.asp?idproduct=532\">this quick assessment guide<\/a> into Farsi and provide resources and instruction on the psychology of aphasia.
