{"id":2335,"date":"2012-05-11T09:48:22","date_gmt":"2012-05-11T16:48:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www2.nau.edu\/news-p\/wordpress\/?p=2335"},"modified":"2012-10-30T14:19:18","modified_gmt":"2012-10-30T21:19:18","slug":"solid-construction-management-program-earns-reaccreditation","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/news\/solid-construction-management-program-earns-reaccreditation\/","title":{"rendered":"Solid construction management program earns reaccreditation"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Northern Arizona University\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/nau.edu\/cefns\/engineering\/Construction-Management\/\">Construction Management program<\/a>\u00a0will continue building student skills for career success after its recent reaccreditation received from an industry organization.<\/p>\n<p>The American Council on Construction Education awarded a\u00a0six-year reaccreditation to the program, citing the contributions made to the construction industry by NAU\u2019s faculty and students.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Stephen Mead<\/strong>, professor of construction management, civil engineering and environmental engineering, has 25 years of experience in the construction business and began teaching at NAU in 1998.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cConstruction is a very challenging and complicated business that demands a very unique professional skill set,\u201d Mead said. \u201cThe council had a lot of praise for NAU\u2019s Construction Management program.
