Dereshiwsky<\/strong>, associate professor of educational leadership, had an article titled, &#8220;Improving Your Online Teaching Effectiveness by Becoming an Online Student&#8221; in the July-August 2006 issue of\u00a0<em>LERN Magazine<\/em>, published by the Learning Resources Network.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Margot Saltonstall<\/strong>, assessment coordinator in Student Affairs, had an article titled, &#8220;Offices of assessment in student affairs: permanent fixtures, temporary expertise, or passing fancy?&#8221; published in the Aug. 9 issue of\u00a0<em>Net Results, NASPA Online Journal<\/em>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The NAU chapter of Mortar Board National College Senior Honor Society<\/strong>\u00a0was one of 19 chapters nationwide to win the society&#8217;s Golden Torch Award at the organization&#8217;s national conference in July.
