It also ranked NAU 68th in the nation for graduating Latinos with bachelor&#8217;s degrees.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;NAU continues to work to create and sustain a campus climate that is inclusive and academically challenging,&#8221; said\u00a0<strong>David Bousquet<\/strong>, vice president for enrollment management and student affairs.<\/p>\n<p>The magazine also reports the rankings of minorities earning degrees by disciplines, and NAU earned some prominent rankings, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>second in the nation for bachelor&#8217;s degrees in education for Native Americans<\/li>\n<li>fifth for bachelor&#8217;s degrees in business management and marketing related support services for Native Americans<\/li>\n<li>fifth for bachelor&#8217;s degrees in health professions and related clinical sciences for Native Americans<\/li>\n<li>sixth for bachelor&#8217;s degrees in engineering for Native Americans<\/li>\n<li>eighth for bachelor&#8217;s degrees in education for minorities<\/li>\n<li>ninth for bachelor&#8217;s degrees in education for Latinos<\/li>\n<li>13th for bachelor&#8217;s degrees in social sciences and history for Native Americans<\/li>\n<li>16th for bachelor&#8217;s degrees in biological and biomedical sciences for Native Americans<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The rankings are based on the 2004-05 academic years, which is the most recent data available from the U.S. Department of Education.
