{"id":22126,"date":"2006-05-03T09:07:47","date_gmt":"2006-05-03T16:07:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stage.headlessnauedu-b6hgdzckfdgxgzhe.westus-01.azurewebsites.net\/?p=22126"},"modified":"2015-08-17T14:59:14","modified_gmt":"2015-08-17T21:59:14","slug":"compassionate-transfer-of-leave-an-opportunity-to-help-nau-coworkers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/news\/compassionate-transfer-of-leave-an-opportunity-to-help-nau-coworkers\/","title":{"rendered":"Compassionate Transfer of Leave an opportunity to help NAU coworkers"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Several NAU employees on medical leaves of absence are in need of donated vacation hours because they have not accrued enough hours to remain in a paid status while on leave.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The university&#8217;s Compassionate Transfer of Leave program provides eligible employees with additional paid leave for a specific period of time due to catastrophic illness or injury.<\/p>\n<p>To donate a portion of your accrued vacation hours to these employees:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/hr.nau.edu\/m\/images\/stories\/docs\/ctl_donor_form1_.pdf\" target=\"_blank\">Download<\/a>\u00a0and complete the &#8220;Contributor&#8221; information at the top of the Compassionate Transfer of Leave form.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Enter the number of accrued vacation hours you wish to donate. Note that you must retain a minimum balance of 80 vacation hours after the leave transfer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Leave the &#8220;Recipient&#8221; name blank.
