Northern Arizona University\u2019s Fronske Health Center has been reaccredited by the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care for a three-year term, the longest possible.<\/p>\n
Fronske has been an accredited health care facility since 1982, and this year was the first time Fronske has included NAU\u2019s Counseling Center in the accreditation.<\/p>\n
\u201cWhen you see our certificate of accreditation, you know that the association has determined that we care enough about our patients and clients to strive for the highest quality care possible,\u201d said\u00a0Beth Applebee<\/strong>, executive director of Campus Health Services. \u201cWe believe our patients and clients deserve the best.\u201d<\/p>\n The national accreditation means Fronske Health Center and the Counseling Center have met nationally recognized standards for the provision of quality health and mental health care.<\/p>\n \u201cGoing through the process challenges us to find better ways to serve our patients and clients, and it is a constant reminder of our responsibility,\u201d Applebee said.<\/p>\n Ambulatory health care organizations seeking accreditation undergo an extensive self-assessment and on-site review by the accreditation association\u2019s surveyors.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
