Franke College of Business auditorium, room 101.<\/p>\n<p>Godsey represents convicted Ohio inmates for whom new evidence, such as DNA evidence, proves their innocence. His efforts have helped exonerate inmates wrongly convicted of such crimes as murder, rape and aggravated vehicular homicide.<\/p>\n<p>In 2008,\u00a0Godsey was elected to the\u00a0board of directors of the\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.innocencenetwork.org\/\">Innocence Network<\/a>, the\u00a0organization representing Innocence Projects\u00a0in the United States, Canada, the UK,\u00a0Australia and New Zealand.<\/p>\n<p>Recognized as a leading authority on wrongful convictions, Godfrey has appeared nationally on\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/transcripts.cnn.com\/TRANSCRIPTS\/0512\/26\/lkl.01.html\">Larry King Live<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/today.msnbc.msn.com\/id\/17562131\/\">Dateline NBC<\/a>,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.cnn.com\/\">CNN<\/a>, Forensic Files, Court TV, the Oxygen Network, NPR and A&amp;E&#8217;s American Justice, among others.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><a class=\"search-results-excerpt-link\" href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/news\/representative-to-the-innocent-speaking-at-nau\/\">An advocate who represents wrongfully convicted inmates will discuss his efforts to prove their innocence at an upcoming lecture at Northern Arizona University.
