Northern Arizona University\u2019s master\u2019s in business administration is listed among the most outstanding business programs in the nation in the Princeton Review\u2019s 2010 edition of its book,\u00a0The Best 301 Business Schools<\/em>.<\/p>\n

This marks the fifth consecutive year that NAU has been featured in the publication.<\/p>\n

Editors chose the 301 featured business schools based on the schools\u2019 academic programs and offerings, institutional data and the candid opinions of more than 19,000 students who rated and reported on their campus experiences for the publication\u2019s annual survey.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

NAU students report that the MBA program is \u201cintense and fun at the same time,\u201d leaving them \u201cbetter prepared and more knowledgeable in regards to the major business functions, such as marketing, management, finance and accounting.\u201d<\/p>\n

Professors \u201coffer challenging work, but they are always available for further instruction beyond classroom hours.\u201d One student writes, \u201cOur professors strive to enrich students\u2019 professional and business skills to prepare them for success in the workforce. Professors are welcoming and know students on a first-name basis, which makes communication easier and more fluid.\u201d Administrators are \u201chelpful and resourceful when meeting student needs.\u201d<\/p>\n

Jane Thompson<\/strong>, director of NAU’s MBA program, says its small size \u201callows each student to receive substantial individual attention from faculty and staff, making their NAU experience rewarding and enjoyable.\u201d<\/p>\n

Students also cite the \u201cwonderful\u201d new building that \u201coffers all the students a great place to study,\u201d and includes plenty of open space, designed to encourage students to linger after class in order to break off into study groups or simply to hang out and socialize. Thompson agrees, saying the new building\u2019s features help foster interaction among students and faculty, enhancing the overall learning experience.<\/p>\n

The Best 301 Business Schools\u00a0<\/em>includes two-page profiles of the featured schools with information on their academics, career placement services, student life and admissions.<\/p>\n
