{"id":16990,"date":"2009-10-14T16:32:00","date_gmt":"2009-10-14T23:32:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stage.headlessnauedu-b6hgdzckfdgxgzhe.westus-01.azurewebsites.net\/?p=16990"},"modified":"2015-08-17T14:54:48","modified_gmt":"2015-08-17T21:54:48","slug":"slow-food-nau-dishes-up-film-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/news\/slow-food-nau-dishes-up-film-festival\/","title":{"rendered":"Slow Food NAU dishes up film festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>To increase awareness of locally grown and sustainable foods, the Slow Food NAU student group is bringing a Flagstaff Food Film Festival to campus.<\/p>\n<p>The festival will showcase local chefs, guest speakers, food initiatives, highlight current agriculture systems and share the recipe for a more sustainable food system.<\/p>\n<p>Featured films include\u00a0<em>King Corn<\/em>,\u00a0<em>Big River<\/em>,\u00a0<em>The Real Dirt on Farmer John, Our Daily Bread, Fresh, The Gift From Talking God-The Story of the Navajo Churro, The Garden, Flagstaff Community Supported Agriculture<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0<em>The Price of Sugar<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>Films are free, open to the public and will show from 5 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17, and from noon to 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, in the Cline Library Assembly Hall.
