Old Main is undergoing some repairs to ensure safety and increase the building\u2019s longevity.<\/p>\n

The exterior stonework is being restored or replaced, and the roof is being resurfaced. Work began this week and is scheduled to continue through Oct. 26.<\/p>\n

All work associated with this project has undergone extensive review and approval from the state Historic Preservation Office. The $500,000 project is being paid for by available building renewal funds.<\/p>\n

Parking around the building will be affected in order to prevent any damage to personal vehicles. Notice of parking closure will be out the night before any work commences.<\/p>\n
