NAU faculty and staff are invited to participate in testing the two tools\u2014Blackboard Learn<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Moodle<\/a>\u2014being considered as possible replacements for Blackboard Vista, NAU\u2019s current learning management system.<\/p>\n

For two weeks beginning Monday, Sept. 13, the e-Learning Center has set up a comparison of tasks that faculty commonly use in their courses, and users can try these tasks step-by-step in both Blackboard Learn and Moodle. A survey follows to gather feedback that will be forwarded to the\u00a0Provost\u2019s Academic Computing Advisory Committee<\/a>, the group that will select NAU\u2019s new system.<\/p>\n

You can participate in the testing as follows:<\/p>\n

  2. e-Learning Center (Gammage, building 1, room 314)<\/li>\n
  3. South Learning Resource Center (building 61)<\/li>\n
  4. Online via Elluminate, NAU\u2019s web conferencing tool (more info and registration<\/a>)<\/li>\n
  5. Online at your own pace (more info and registration<\/a>)<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
