The conference is a great opportunity for teachers interested in following &#8220;best practices&#8221; in education to participate in professional development.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Imagine fitting schools to meet the needs of children instead of fitting children to the schools,&#8221; said\u00a0<strong>Emilie Rodger<\/strong>, associate professor in the College of Education. \u201cThis is one of many core beliefs in multiage education.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Conference registration is available\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/coe.nau.edu\/mi\/southwest\/index.html\">online<\/a>\u00a0for $50 or $60 at the door.\u00a0Registration is $10 for students with a valid NAU ID.
