The change was driven by research indicating that external web visitors felt that \u201cAbout NAU\u201d was a highly important part of the site, but that the existing content did not meet their needs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe \u2018About\u2019 part of our website receives a great deal of traffic, and findings from the recent web research project highlighted just how important that area is to prospective students and parents,\u201d McCallie said.<\/p>\n<p>Going forward, McCallie says that the goal is to take all parts of the university website through a similar content conversion process.<\/p>\n<p>As part of the \u201cAbout NAU\u201d content conversion process, the university\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/home.nau.edu\/about\/pride\/\">Points of Pride<\/a>\u00a0website also was revamped.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><a class=\"search-results-excerpt-link\" href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/news\/upgraded-about-nau-site-launches\/\">The \u201cAbout NAU\u201d section of the university\u2019s website was recently upgraded to allow web visitors to access key information they need more quickly and easily.
