The free films will screen on Tuesdays throughout the semester at 7 p.m. in the Cline Library Assembly Hall.<\/p>\n<p>Spring semester&#8217;s theme, The Directors\u2014Part 2: Directing Genres, will focus on 15 directors working in seven genres\u2014westerns, sci-fi, war films, comedies, romantic comedies, musicals and animation.<\/p>\n<p>Local film experts will contribute introductions before the films, while co-hosts\u00a0<strong>Paul Helford<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0<strong>Paul Donnelly<\/strong>\u00a0will lead the post-screening conversation, adding to the viewer&#8217;s understanding of the experience.<\/p>\n<p>Helford, principal lecturer in the School of Communication&#8217;s Electronic Media and Film program, has been co-hosting the series since its inception more than five years ago.<\/p>\n<p>Donnelly, associate professor of religious studies at NAU, recently joined Helford to produce the series this academic year.
