Kander and Ebb \u00a0<\/em>
\nJames Leve<\/strong>, associate professor in the School of Music, published\u00a0Kander and Ebb<\/em>, the first study of the longest composer-lyricist team on Broadway. It includes chapters on John Kander and Fred Ebb’s most famous musicals,\u00a0Cabaret<\/em>,\u00a0Chicago<\/em>\u00a0and\u00a0Kiss of the Spider Woman<\/em>. This book is the sixth volume in the Yale Broadway Masters Series. Designing the User Interface\u00a0<\/em>
\nSteven Jacobs<\/strong>, an adjunct faculty member in computer science, co-authored the course textbook,\u00a0Designing the User Interface.\u00a0<\/em>The book features novel technologies and powerful interfaces for the next generation of users who apply social media and social networking in ways that enrich their lives and transform our society. Jacobs collaborated on the book with Ben Shneiderman from the University of Maryland, Catherine Plaisant from the University of Maryland and Maxine Cohen from Nova Southeastern University. Jacobs will sign books at the Computer Human Interaction 2009 conference this April in Boston. Fifth Edition Publishing.<\/p>\n

Criminal Justice in Native America<\/em>
\nMarianne O. Nielsen<\/strong>, a professor of criminology and criminal justice, along with co-author Robert A. Silverman, recently published\u00a0Criminal Justice in Native America,\u00a0<\/em>published by the University of Arizona Press. \nLisa Schnebly Heidinger will sign copies of her books from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 12.
