If you have an opinion on NAU’s physical future, now is your chance to share it.<\/p>\n
NAU Capital Assets is hosting a series of forums on campus to share NAU’s Master Plan and to listen to what students, faculty, staff and the public have to say about it.<\/p>\n
“We are updating our 2005 long-range vision for NAU and are developing a myriad of recommendations for further actions,” said\u00a0David Hook<\/strong>, a project manager for NAU’s planning and development. “As we point to the future, we are looking for input to make sure we are heading in the right direction.”<\/p>\n Hook said each forum will include poster displays, a presentation, a question-and-answer session and a discussion about the Master Plan update that will be incorporated on campus “gradually, starting now and continuing for the next 20 years.”<\/p>\n The proposed updated plan includes development issues, concepts and recommendations and focuses on integrating the planning of traffic safety and congestion, parking, land use and on-campus transit. Immediate steps within the plan include traffic and parking improvements.<\/p>\n “We are seeking feedback about the work of the Master Plan steering committee to date,” Hook said.<\/p>\n Overall, the Master Plan aims to make NAU a greener place.
