Franke College of Business<\/p>\n<p>NAU and Coconino Community College staff and faculty are invited to choose from more than 40 session topics at this year&#8217;s free event, with the theme\u00a0&#8220;Learn, Teach, Give, Grow.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>There also will be a volunteer service fair and complimentary lunch for participants.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Marcia Warden<\/strong>, training coordinator for Human Resources, said employees can attend for some or all of the day\u2019s events.\u00a0 \u201cWe get so much positive feedback each year about how this event lets people set their own schedule, meet up with colleagues they don\u2019t always get to see and explore a variety of personal or professional interests in a relaxed, low-key environment,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>A broad range of session topics include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Start, Stop, Continue, Change: Brainstorming a Better Way<\/li>\n<li>Play is Not a Four Letter Word<\/li>\n<li>Bouncing Back More Easily: Tools for Resiliency at Work and in Life<\/li>\n<li>Commute \u00c0 La Carte<\/li>\n<li>A Little Writing Goes a Long Way<\/li>\n<li>Campus Civility and the Arizona Immigration Debate<\/li>\n<li>Student Learning Outside the Classroom<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>For more details and to register, visit\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.nau.edu\/YourDay\">www.nau.edu\/YourDay<\/a><strong>.\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong>Registration will be open until May 6.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><a class=\"search-results-excerpt-link\" href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/news\/register-for-employee-development-day\/\">NAU\u2019s Employee Development Day is scheduled for Wednesday, May 25,\u00a0in The W.A.
