The award will be presented at the firm\u2019s National Conference on Student Recruitment, Marketing and Retention in Chicago later this month.<\/p>\n<p>CCC2NAU was selected to receive the award for its innovative agreement that has led to increased retention and graduation rates.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNorthern Arizona University and Coconino Community College created a ground-breaking example of partnership that focuses on student success,\u201d said NAU President\u00a0<strong>John Haeger<\/strong>. \u201cIt has served as a model for additional 2NAU programs and has been duplicated at other state universities and colleges around the country.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The collaboration with CCC launched a major initiative at Northern Arizona University and has led to 2NAU partnerships with 16 other community colleges that currently serve 1,900 students across the state.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCoconino Community College and Northern Arizona University are excellent examples of how strong working partnerships among higher education institutions improve educational opportunities for all,\u201d said CCC President Leah Bornstein.<\/p>\n<p>CCC2NAU has received several awards including the 2012 Outstanding Institutional Advancement Advising Program Award from the National Academic Advising Association, and the collective 2NAU programs earned the Arizona College Access Network\u2019s\u00a0<a title=\"Northern Arizona University awarded for innovative degree pathways\" href=\"http:\/\/stage.headlessnauedu-b6hgdzckfdgxgzhe.westus-01.azurewebsites.net\/northern-arizona-university-awarded-for-innovative-degree-pathways\/\">2011 Pathways to Postsecondary Education Award.<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><a class=\"search-results-excerpt-link\" href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/news\/ccc2nau-earns-national-award-for-excellence\/\">Northern Arizona University and Coconino Community College&#8217;s\u00a0CCC2NAU program\u00a0is being recognized again for its innovative practices that enhance student access to degrees.
