{"id":10626,"date":"2011-06-23T10:34:22","date_gmt":"2011-06-23T17:34:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/stage.headlessnauedu-b6hgdzckfdgxgzhe.westus-01.azurewebsites.net\/?p=10626"},"modified":"2013-01-23T10:50:12","modified_gmt":"2013-01-23T17:50:12","slug":"conference-center-earns-industry-certification","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/news\/conference-center-earns-industry-certification\/","title":{"rendered":"Conference center earns industry certification"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.highcountryconferencecenter.com\/\">High Country Conference Center<\/a>\u00a0has been certified as a member of the International Association of Conference Centers.<\/p>\n<p>The center earned membership by meeting a series of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.iacconline.org\/about\/index.cfm?fuseaction=memcrit\">quality standards<\/a>\u00a0established by the association, which makes High Country the only member in Northern Arizona and one of only five in the state.<\/p>\n<p>The center opened in 2008 on the Northern Arizona University campus and is managed by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.sodexo.com\/group_en\/group\/sodexo-worldwide\/north-america\/united_states.asp\">Sodexo<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cReceiving this certification acknowledges the quality of services and facilities we have strived to provide to our customers,\u201d said\u00a0<strong>Jane Kuhn<\/strong>, NAU associate vice president for Enrollment Management and Student Affairs. \u201cHigh Country is truly an outstanding venue.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition, the association awarded High Country a\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.iacconline.org\/education\/index.cfm?fuseaction=environmental\">Green Star\u2013Gold Tier<\/a>\u00a0designation for its commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p><a class=\"search-results-excerpt-link\" href=\"https:\/\/in.nau.edu\/news\/conference-center-earns-industry-certification\/\">The\u00a0High Country Conference Center\u00a0has been certified as a member of the International Association of Conference Centers.
