The Jan. 11 event marked the formal launch of Innocence Project France. The event captured significant press attention, including a story in <a href=\"http:\/\/www4.nau.edu\/insidenau\/images\/photos\/2013\/1_18_13\/spotlight.pdf\"><i>Le Monde<\/i><\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><b>Rosemary Papa<\/b>, the Del and Jewell Lewis Endowed Chair of Educational Leadership, has been named the first international Ambassador chair for the National Council of Professors of Educational Administration. Papa was NCPEA\u2019s first female president and is a recipient of NCPEA\u2019s Living Legend Award.<\/li>\n<li><b>Natalie Cawood<\/b>, assistant professor of social work, had her article,\u00a0<i>Addressing Interpersonal Violence in the School Context: Awareness and Use of Evidenced-supported Programs,<\/i>\u00a0published in the January 2013 edition of the journal\u00a0<i>Children and Schools<\/i>.<\/li>\n<li><b>Ken Lorek<\/b>, the Ralph M. Bilby Professor in the W.A. Franke College of Business, had a paper accepted for publication (Spring 2013) in the <em>Journal of Theoretical Accounting Research<\/em>. The paper is titled \u00a0\u201cQuarterly Cash Flow Predictions: A Proposed Framework.\u201d<\/li>\n<li><b>Evan Bucklin<\/b>, a second-year student in NAU\u2019s Master\u2019s Applied Physics Program, won the Best Poster Award at the IONS-13 meeting earlier this month for his presentation entitled &#8220;Holographic Interferometry of Semiconductor Flaws.&#8221; The meeting was held in Zurich and Lausanne, Switzerland.
