Computing benefits Accordion Closed
- NAU administration has approved free internet access and email account service for retirees, but it is limited by appropriate support constraints. It is effective immediately for retirees who meet the ABOR-defined benefit qualifications of having served full time for five continuous years, are at least 50 years of age, are receiving a retirement annuity under an Arizona university-sponsored retirement program, and whose employment was not terminated for cause by the university. Previously retired NAU faculty and staff who qualify for IT services based on the above profile may contact the Solution Center at 928-523-1511 or 888-520-7215 to have their accounts enabled. Newly retiring personnel will be advised of this added benefit during their retirement counseling sessions with Human Resources. Learn more about this benefit, including service limitations and helpful information on utilizing the new accounts.

NAU Cline library Accordion Closed

Parking pass Accordion Closed
Official NAU retirees, who are also NAURA members, are eligible for a retiree parking pass. Life members qualify for an NAU permanent parking pass (only one sign-up is needed.) Annual Members must renew their parking pass every year. A list of eligible retirees’ names is supplied to Parking Services by the NAURA Membership Records Chair as needed. Parking Services will confirm your retiree status in PeopleSoft and your membership status with NAURA. The NAU parking pass uses a License Plate Recognition (LPR) system so with a parking pass you can register your car(s) on LPR and then park your car, only one vehicle at a time, on campus in employee lots only. Parking stickers are no longer used.
To register your vehicle(s) with Parking Services you have three options:
- Send your NAURA payment receipt to ask.parking@nau.edu and your status will be changed to retiree so you can then go online and order your parking pass.
- Go to the Parking Services office with your NAURA payment receipt. You can then order your pass online in their office if you need assistance.
- Send your payment receipt to ask.parking@nau.edu and request they order the annual retiree permit for you.
A retiree parking pass must be replaced with a purchased employee parking pass if the retiree is working at NAU more than 10 hours per week, teaching more than 3 hours, or enrolling in more than one class. Any other questions pertaining to Parking Services policy for NAURA members should be directed to Parking Services at ask.parking@nau.edu or by calling 928-523-6623.
