This 9-month program provides Native American\u00a0<\/span>college students in the Four Corners region with\u00a0<\/span>the\u00a0<\/span>opportunity to gain valuable experience in\u00a0<\/span><\/b>health and educational outreach\u00a0<\/span><\/b>through the\u00a0<\/span>development of a new quarterly webinar series.<\/span>\u200b<\/p>\n

An intent of this webinar series is to<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>show young\u00a0<\/span><\/i>scholars that cancer research and health equity\u00a0<\/span><\/i>approaches with Native American populations\u00a0<\/span><\/i>involves scholars and professionals from many\u00a0<\/span><\/i>different disciplines \u2013 not just lab science!<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n

New this year, through a collaboration with the Arizona Department of Health Services Tribal Cancer Collaborative\u00a0<\/span>webinar<\/span>\u00a0series, cohort scholars will also\u00a0<\/span>have the opportunity to<\/span>\u00a0<\/span>participate<\/span>\u00a0in the August and November sessions, gaining hands-on experience in\u00a0<\/span>webinar<\/span>\u00a0coordination and\u00a0<\/span>facilitation<\/span>.<\/p>\n
