During his undergraduate program, he observed the growing significance of engineering in biology and human health and decided to focus on this area of research for his graduate studies. As a student in the Master of Science Mechanical Engineering program at NAU, he joined <strong>Dr. Amirhossein Arzani\u2019s Cardiovascular Biomechanics Lab<\/strong> whose focus is on interdisciplinary research of biology and engineering combined with programming and computer simulations. He will be graduating in May 2020 and, having gained extensive research experience while at NAU, he will be continuing on with doctoral studies at the University of Michigan in the fall.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Proud to be a Lumberjack!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The tools and novel concepts that I have developed are going to be the very early steps along the long path of fully understanding, controlling, and estimating the physiological phenomena occurring inside the human lungs.
