Celebrating Incoming Student Excellence in Robotics<\/h2>\n

The Mechatronics and Robotics Engineering (MRE) program at Northern Arizona University is proud to announce the ON-RAMP Award, recognizing exceptional incoming students who have demonstrated outstanding achievement in robotics prior to joining NAU.<\/p>\n

Award Info and Highlights<\/h3>\n

\u00b7 Eligibility: Incoming NAU freshmen enrolling in the MRE program.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Criteria: Evidence of excellence in robotics through projects, competitions, or other significant achievements.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Awards available: Three outstanding students will be selected.<\/p>\n

\u00b7 Recognition: Each recipient will receive a paid undergraduate research stipend for up to10 hours per week in one of NAU\u2019s state-of-the-art robotics research labs, including:<\/p>\n

o The Biomechatronics Laboratory<\/a> led by Dr. Zach Lerner<\/p>\n

o The Raz Lab<\/a> led by Dr. Reza Razavian<\/p>\n

\u00b7 The best performing researcher each year will be recognized by a Departmental award<\/p>\n

3. Meet the deadline: Applications are due by May 1st.<\/p>\n

4. Final selection: Final selection will be made following 10-minute phone interviews<\/p>\n\n
