Hispanic Heritage Month is here!
\nSeptember 15th-October 15, 2020<\/h4>\n

National Hispanic Heritage month traditionally honors the cultures and contributions of both Hispanic and Latino Americans as we celebrate heritage rooted in all Latin American countries.<\/p>\n

Cline Library recognizes the long and rich tradition of Latin culture within our university and Flagstaff communities. You will find a wide range of services and resources, including a guide in support of Hispanic Heritage month. Learn more at: https:\/\/libraryguides.nau.edu\/hhm<\/a><\/p>\n

In addition, the NAU Office of Inclusion (IMQ) is also offering a number of special events to celebrate National Hispanic Heritage Month! For more information and to register, email inclusion@nau.edu<\/strong><\/a>. Events include:<\/p>\n

–<\/strong> A Night to Decipher and Discuss: Unlearning Racism (Una Noche de Descifrar y Discutir)<\/strong>\u2014The classroom space for social transformation through borderlands pedagogy with ethnic studies professor T. Mark Montoya, 6-7:30 p.m. September 24, via Zoom.<\/strong><\/p>\n

-IMQ Open House–Hispanic\/Latinx Initiatives<\/strong>, University Union, Kaibab Building, 30, Thursday, October 1, 4-6pm.<\/strong>\u00a0 Stop by and check out the IMQ & meet their staff.<\/p>\n

-Virtual “Loteria” Night<\/strong>—Thursday, October 8, 4-6pm.<\/strong> Join the Latinx Student Union and IMQ play Loteria (Bingo).\u00a0 RSVP: inclusion@nau.edu<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
