Looking for a good summer read? Look no further.\u00a0 Over the past several months, Cline Library staff have stepped up and suggested a number of excellent books to pick up. You’ll find topics from topics in non-fiction and fiction along with history, science fiction, writing, and more.\u00a0 We hope you find something to spark your interest.<\/p>\n

\nFirst off, Elizabeth Berney can’t say enough about author Andrew Mayne. He has written several different series, including his most recent title, “The Girl Beneath the Sea.”\u00a0 Berney shares, “the fun thing about Mayne is him… he is a well respected magician, so his books are hard to guess the ending!”<\/p>\n

\"\"Janet Crum recommends Matchup by Lee Child. MatchUp is an anthology of short stories from the International Thriller Writers. Each story is co-authored by a male and a female thriller writer, featuring a character from each writer’s work. The result is wonderfully entertaining, as these thriller masters figure out how to pair two famous–and often very different–characters in a single story. If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if, say, Temperance Brennan and Jack Reacher teamed up, or Jamie Fraser and Cotton Malone bridged 200 years to appear together, then this is the book for you.<\/p>\n
