The content will be available to your students through Canvas.<\/p>\n<h4>Electronic reserves<\/h4>\n<p>The library can digitize copies of articles, book chapters and other print resources. The content will then be available to your students through Canvas.<\/p>\n<h3>Find electronic reading and media<\/h3>\n<p>Your\u00a0subject librarian\u00a0can teach you to\u00a0identify useful online resources available from the library, such as journal articles and streaming video, and teach you how to find alternatives if needed.<\/p>\n<h3>Integrate research skills into assignments<\/h3>\n<h4>What research skills will students need in order to be successful in your course?<\/h4>\n<p>Your librarian can review course assignments to identify and incorporate research and critical thinking skills into your class. We can work with you to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Think through an assignment from a research skills perspective<\/li>\n<li>Verify if resources needed to complete the assignment are available through the Library<\/li>\n<li>Develop curricula and learning exercises for your class that strengthen the skills of your students<\/li>\n<li>Encourage your students to talk to a librarian before they start a research assignment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Create course guides<\/h3>\n<p>Course guides direct students to the best resources for successfully completing assignments, along with instructional elements on how to most effectively use those resources. Librarians can work with instructors to build guides tailored to the needs of specific courses. These can then be linked directly in Canvas.<\/p>\n<h3>Create tutorials<\/h3>\n<p>Librarians can work with instructors to build tutorials tailored to the needs of a course.
