Request a library instruction session by contacting your\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/library.nau.edu\/general_information\/subject_librarian.html\">subject librarian<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Instruction can come in many forms, including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>learning exercises that will enable students to find, evaluate, and use information effectively.<\/li>\n<li>demonstrations or hands-on instruction of research tools, such as Quick Search, general databases, and subject databases.<\/li>\n<li>introductions to research tools in all disciplines and formats.<\/li>\n<li>online research guides or tutorials specific to your classes\u00a0or programs.<\/li>\n<li>research consultations for individuals or groups.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2 id=\"assignment\">Assignment design<\/h2>\n<p>Work with your <a href=\"http:\/\/library.nau.edu\/general_information\/subject_librarian.html\">subject librarian<\/a>\u00a0to develop learning activities and course materials to support your teaching and promote student learning.
